By accessing our website, submitting an inquiry, requesting a quote, renting equipment, or engaging our production services, you (“Client,” “User,” or “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services or website.

1. Services Provided

Millimeter provides end-to-end production solutions, including but not limited to:

  • Production Services & Logistics: Workflow planning, permit processing, location scouting, crew coordination, and full-service film/media production.

  • Equipment Rental: Commercial hire of cameras, lighting, audio, grip, and ancillary media gear.

  • Studio & Spaces: Access to and utilization of designated production facilities and studio spaces.

2. Quotes, Inquiries, and Bookings

  • Quotes: Quotations issued by Millimeter are estimates based on the initial project scope, equipment list, and duration provided by the Client. Quotes remain valid for the period specified on the quote (or 14 calendar days if unstated), after which rates and availability are subject to change.

  • Booking Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a signed agreement or official purchase order (PO), along with any required deposit or upfront payment specified during quotation.

  • Scope Changes: Any modifications to project scope, shoot dates, crew count, or gear requirements may incur additional charges and require updated written confirmation.

3. Equipment Rental Terms

When renting equipment from Millimeter, the following conditions apply:

A. Equipment Inspection & Acceptance

  • The Client is responsible for inspecting all rented equipment upon pickup or delivery.

  • Any defects, shortages, or damaged equipment must be reported to Millimeter immediately before production begins. Once equipment leaves Millimeter’s premises or is accepted on location, it is deemed to be in good, working order.

B. Usage & Care

  • Rented equipment must be operated solely by qualified, competent technicians and used only for its intended professional purpose.

  • Equipment must not be altered, modified, repaired without prior permission, or subjected to dangerous environments without explicit written consent.

C. Loss, Damage, and Insurance

  • The Client assumes full financial and legal responsibility for all rented equipment from the time of handoff until its physical return to Millimeter.

  • In the event of loss, theft, damage, or destruction of equipment during the rental period, the Client agrees to pay the full repair or replacement cost (at current market rates) as well as any loss-of-hire revenue incurred by Millimeter during the downtime.

  • Clients may be required to show proof of valid Commercial General Liability and Production/Equipment Insurance prior to equipment release.

D. Returns & Late Charges

  • All equipment must be returned on or before the agreed time and date specified in the rental contract.

  • Unapproved delays in returning equipment will incur additional daily rental fees and any associated costs resulting from disruption to subsequent bookings.

4. Studio Spaces & Location Usage

  • Rules of Use: Clients utilizing Millimeter studio facilities or coordinated locations must comply with all house rules, noise restrictions, security directives, and safety guidelines.

  • Cleanliness & Restoration: Facilities must be returned in the same condition as received. Additional cleaning or restoration fees may apply if spaces are left damaged or excessively untidy.

  • Overtime: Studio access beyond agreed operating hours will be billed at applicable overtime rates.

5. Permits, Authorizations, and Legal Compliance

  • Regulatory Compliance: All productions operating within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia must strictly adhere to national regulations, laws, and cultural guidelines set by local media and government authorities (such as the General Authority of Media Regulation – GCAM).

  • Permit Procurement: Where Millimeter is engaged to manage permits, project details and documentation must be provided by the Client within agreed timelines. Millimeter is not liable for production delays or cancellations resulting from incomplete Client disclosures or third-party governmental delays beyond our reasonable control.

6. Payment Terms & Billing

  • Payment Schedule: Payment schedules, deposits, and invoicing terms will be specified in the individual project quote or agreement.

  • Late Payments: Overdue payments may be subject to administrative fees and interest charges permitted under applicable law. Millimeter reserves the right to withhold deliverables, cancel rentals, or suspend services in the event of non-payment.

  • Taxes: All quoted rates are exclusive of applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) or other government taxes, which will be added to the final invoice as required by Saudi Arabian tax laws.

7. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

  • Cancellation Fees: Cancellations made after booking confirmation may be subject to cancellation charges to cover committed crew fees, reserved equipment, permit costs, and studio setup expenses.

  • Rescheduling: Requests to reschedule shoot dates or rentals are subject to resource and equipment availability. Additional rebooking fees may apply if costs have already been incurred for the original dates.

8. Intellectual Property & Content Rights

  • Client Content: The Client retains all intellectual property rights to raw media, footage, and content produced under their directive, subject to full settlement of all outstanding invoices.

  • Millimeter Materials: Any pre-existing templates, proprietary workflow models, software, or tools provided by Millimeter remain the property of Millimeter.

  • Promotional Usage: Unless strictly prohibited by a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) or written agreement, Millimeter reserves the right to reference the project title and display non-confidential behind-the-scenes images or finished media excerpts in its portfolio and marketing materials.

9. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

  • Limitation: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Millimeter shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, production downtime, or lost data) arising out of or related to our services or website.

  • Maximum Liability: Millimeter’s maximum total liability for any claim arising under an agreement shall not exceed the total fees actually paid by the Client to Millimeter for the specific service in question.

  • Indemnification: The Client agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Millimeter, its directors, employees, and subcontractors against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or legal fees resulting from Client breach of contract, unauthorized equipment operation, or copyright infringement contained in Client-provided content.
